JBAS010985: unrecognized type 36

Heiko Braun
On a recent  build I see these in the logs :

[Server:server-one] Caused by: java.io.IOException: JBAS010985: unrecognized type 36
[Server:server-one] at org.jboss.as.protocol.mgmt.AbstractMessageHandler.handleMessage(AbstractMessageHandler.java:110) [jboss-as-protocol-7.1.0.Final-SNAPSHOT.jar:7.1.0.Final-SNAPSHOT]

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Emanuel, please have a look.

I think "type 36" showed up in a JIRA I assigned you a day or so back.

Of course, your pull request may have already fixed it!

Yes, looks like: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-3565

The pull-request from yesterday seems to fix the issue indeed, but i
still need to go trough some additional use-cases.
